About Katherine Watkins

Katherine Watkins BSc(Hons), MCSP, Registered Member of the Health Professional Council, Chartered Physiotherapist, is a highly skilled manual therapist specialising in dance and sports injuries.

Katherine is the Senior Physiotherapist at Laban Conservatoire for Contemporary Dance in South East London and manages Laban Health. She is also a Distance Learning Tutor for the Royal Academy of Dance in Battersea Square. Katherine is involved in researching dance injury prevention strategies and lectures both at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

She is a member of the Physiotherapy Advisory Group for DANCE UK, and is listed on their physiotherapy practitioners' register.

Katherine has experience as a club Rugby Physiotherapist and has been a Physiotherapist for the Middlesex 7’s and the London Marathon.  She is currently in her eighth year as one of the team of physiotherapists for the AELTC at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

To maintain her skills and further her professional development, Katherine regularly attends courses, seminars and sporting events.
